Diaconate Committee

At St. Stevens, we are blessed to have a prayerful and loving joint committee of Deacons and Deaconess, that we call our Diaconate Board. The term 'Diaconate' is derived from the Greek word 'Diakonia', which simply means 'service'. As such, they faithfully embrace the role of servants to our congregation, both spiritually and physically. We are grateful for their attentiveness to the needs of our church family. They are available to all of the members of our congregation, to answer any questions you may have, to partner with in prayer, or to just be a shoulder to lean on. The members of the Diaconate Board, as shown above from left to right, are Deaconess Deirdre Parham, Deaconess Carolyn Minor, Deaconess Caroline Orange, Deaconess Annette Wormley, Co-Chair Deaconess Clara Minor, Deacon Sterling Parker, Rev.
